Psalms 44:3 NIV
[3] It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.
Even though weapons were used and people fought the war their victory came from God. That is what we need to remember. When we are feeling like we are in the battle we need to do what we need to do but we must trust that God is the one who will give us victory or not. And whatever that result is we must also trust that He who is sovereign knows what is best.
