JOB 30:1-31:40
I did read, nothing much to say. Job is making his defense again. Not much new.
I am pretty brain dead and a little sick after youth group retreat. Prayers appreciated.

When Job speaks of his anguish, there are parts that I myself can apply to my life during trials that I have experienced.
There are parts that make me think about Jesus and how he was persecuted and spit upon.
There are parts that make me think about our church, THE church or any Christian.
Where he talks of “ they” it makes me think of lies in today’s world. And his anguish and his honesty about what he is going through, brings clarity to know that the evil of this world will never relent, but that is OK because the truth already has the victory. Job is able to go to God on judgment day, and present his final…
“But now they mock me”
“Haggard from want and hunger they wander the parched land”
“Shouted at as if thieves”
“They do not hesitate to spit in my face”
Who and what does these few verses sound like? And there’s more in today’s reading that echoes the same
