Psalms 31:3-4 NIV

[3] Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me. [4] Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge.

The struggles that I am going through right now are nothing compared to what David was going through, but I love how the word of God can speak to us in all the different places we are in our lives. The trap that is set before me is to trust in my own ability and the abilities of other people instead of trusting God. He has been my rock and fortress before and therefore will be my rock and fortress this time and for all time. For the sake of His name lead and guide me as conference is about to happen with potential problem after problem presenting itself. As long as I am focused on you and trusting you, I know you will guide me. My first memory verse has been an anchor for me over the years. I know without a doubt that if I trust in the Lord with all my heart, lean not on my own understanding, and in all my ways submit to him, then he will guide me on a straight path.

Psalms 31:7-8 NIV

[7] I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. [8] You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place.

In reflection of who He is and all He has done I am driven to rejoice in His love. As I recall each conference before this one I am reminded of all the things the enemy has tried to do to disrupt His work and that liar has never succeeded in fact his attack only gives us more reason to praise our great God and to experience His love.

Psalms 31:20-21 NIV

[20] In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues. [21] Praise be to the Lord, for he showed me the wonders of his love when I was in a city under siege.

There is no human intrigue, thought, idea, word or concern that can stop Him from accomplishing all that He has planned.

Praise be to you Lord for you have shown me the wonders of Your abundant love when your people are under siege. Thank you for your faithfulness and a peace that is beyond all understanding. Guide us and lead us as we step out again this year desiring nothing more than to be obedient servants to you. That all that we do would bring you honor and glory and have a positive impact on the Kingdom. Bring exactly the right people to attend and prepare their hearts to know you more.

In the amplified name of Jesus I pray. AMEN.
