Proverbs 14:3 A fool’s mouth lashes out with pride,

    but the lips of the wise protect them.

There is so much power in our words. I know there are many scriptures that talk about that power. I went looking for some statistics on it and found the following article. The writer says, "I counted the terms tongue, lips, mouth, and words, and they appear over 170 times in the Bible."

That is a big number that sounds conservative for me.

I thought I would share it as there is no point in writing what someone else has already written.
