2Chronicals 36;15 The Lord, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the Lord was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.
God is just but He is also a patient. He didn't punish the people without warnings. It reminds me of a parent who counts to 3 or even 10 when they are telling their children to do something or not to do something. However, God went way above counting to 10 before He held them to their actions and inactions.
Thank you God for being a patient God. I know that I have pushed the limits more than once but you are also a gracious God and have proven to to me over and over again.
