1John 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

More thoughts about what it will be like to be in the kingdom of God and to see Jesus face to face, as He is, in all His Glory! And think about this. We don't have the ability here to know what He is really like to look at but when we get there not only will we see Him as He is we will be like Him. His glory will be on us and we will be new heavenly creatures. I can't wait to see Him and really KNOW Him.

Psalm 121:1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—

    where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the Lord,

    the Maker of heaven and earth.

This brings a song to my mind. And singing praises to the Maker of heaven and earth for eternity is another thing I can't wait for. In Church today the pastor said that worship is not something we do just when we come into church on Sunday morning but it should be a way of life. I think that even if we fully understand that and desire it, we all fall short of being able to do that all of the time. Why? Sin of course. But when Jesus returns there will be no more sin so we will be able to and will succeed in it being a way of life for us. Eternal life! At the beginning of advent, I pray Come Lord Jesus.
