Proverbs 10:8 The wise in heart accept commands,

    but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

I am reading this while there are others around me talking about some things that I think I could give my opinion and it might help but I don't really know all the details and my help is not being asked for. If I say something it could be taken the wrong way so I am keeping my mouth shut. I don't want to be a chattering fool. This is something that God has taught me over time. I had always been a quick to speak person especially when I think that I am right. I have had the mouth of a fool on many occasions and it has cause pain for myself and others. I thank God for the wisdom to recognize that there are times to speak and times to be silent and for discernment to know the difference.
