Mark 13:35-37 NIV
[35] “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. [36] If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. [37] What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”
The owner of the house is the owner of the house regardless of what we think. Just because the owner hasn't come back yet does not mean that His house belongs to us. We are still to be taking care of the house and working to serve the master. Just because He didn't return today does not mean that we can know that He won't return tomorrow. Be ready. Working, waiting and watching.

In Leviticus 23 God lays out the sacred calendar for Israel — Sabbath, Passover, Firstfruits, Weeks (Pentecost), Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Tabernacles.
what’s a little help from some commentaries? I just decided to dig in a little bit. Here’s some wonderful thoughts.
God was establishing a sacred rhythm for His people — work and rest, remembering and rejoicing, repentance and celebration.
He was saying You don’t just live by harvest cycles or political events. You live by My redemptive story.
God Still Sets Sacred Rhythms
We may not keep Levitical feast days, but:
We gather weekly
We celebrate Easter and Christmas
We observe communion
We mark seasons of fasting or prayer.
The heart principle:
God invites us into intentional times…
