Psalm115:1 Not to us, Lord, not to us

    but to your name be the glory,

    because of your love and faithfulness.

This makes me think of the youth group planning meeting last night. One of the things I talked about was the lies that our kids are being taught to believe and how we need to teach them the truth from God's word. Social media is all about getting the glory for self. Get more followers, get more likes, make sure you follow the "right" people, be careful to not get cancelled. It's all about getting known and being socially successful. I pray that this year they come to the realization of the truth and become spiritually successful. Only God deserves the glory. God's opinion of them is the only opinion that matters. Instead of getting followers they need to BE a follower of Jesus. No other person is more loving and faithful to them than Jesus. Once they follow Jesus no one can cancel them. They can't lose their salvation and He will never leave them or forsake them.
