Same story over and over again. I didn't realize how often things are repeated until doing this reading plan.
That is something that stood out to me as well; same story over and over again. No wonder King Solomon wrote:
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9 NIV
I just said in a conversation recently I think quite possibly we as a species have not evolved at all. We keep doing the same things. We may think we are crafty and clever with our new innovations but the core of who or what we are has been the same for thousands of years.
