Romans 3:3 NIV

[3] What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness?

Thank you Lord that even when my faithfulness fails, yours never does. There is nothing that I can do or not do that can change who you are or what you do. Your faithfulness is infallible.

Romans 3:9 NIV

[9] What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.

There is not a human alive that does not sin. I have no room to judge and no human judgement against me is a concern of mine. For it is ultimately against you that I have sinned. My desire is to please you not man.

Romans 3:22-23 NIV

[22] This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, [23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

This quote from my youth leadership training today.

Paul finished the race well and we are to strive to do the same thing. Finishing the race well does not mean perfection. We are all sinners and all have fallen short of the Glory of God. Finishing well means finishing His assignment that He has for us.

We can only finish the race well when we know the course. Listen for the assignment. Say yes to the assignment and then respond. That is what I am doing by going through this leadership training course. So far it has been transformational. I pray that He will empower me and give me the vision to see how I can use all that I am learning in my personal life and my ministry. Today was very eye opening to the fact that no matter how much I grow there will always be sin and that I need to continuously evaluate my priorities. Couldn't have been a better scripture to read before going into training then to have it repeated by the speaker. I say yes Lord, I hear you.
