EZEKIEL 24:1-26:21
HEBREWS 11:1-16
PSALM 110:1-7
PROVERBS 27:14
Follow up to yesterday's post.
Faith is what happens when our belief moves from our head to our heart and leads to action.
Hebrews 11:4 It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did...
"Able brought" - Action that came from a heart to please God.
Hebrews 11:5 It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.
Enoch had a heart to "please God" and lived by it in action.
Hebrews 11:7 It was by faith that Noah built a large boat to save his family from the flood...
"Noah built" - Action from a trust in God to do what He said even when it was crazy to think it would rain let alone flood where he was.
Hebrews 11:8 It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.
"Abraham obeyed" - Action from a faith that God would guide him and do what He said He would do.
Hebrews 11:11 It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.
Sarah believed in her heart that God would do what he promised.
May your beliefs travel from your head to your heart and move you to action.
A statement of faith kind of song for you.

Hebrews11:11 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.”
A follow up on yesterday’s comment. Confirmation that when we do not focus on our heavenly home and have our hearts set on the on the things of this world, things that we can see, we lose faith and when faith is lacking, so is confidence.
Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
And without faith no matter what we do, think, feel, or have, we cannot please God.
Hebrews 11: 13 All…
