DANIEL 6:1-28

2 PETER 3:1-18

PSALM 119:129-152

PROVERBS 28:21-22

2Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

I impatiently want Jesus to return and I know I am not the only one. But I am so grateful that our God is so loving that He will patiently wait for all those to come into the body of Christ before He returns because He does not want to lose anyone.

2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. 14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

As we wait we need to do our best to live holy and godly lives looking forward to a new heaven and new earth.

May your will be done and all those who are yours be brought into the family of God that you can then Come Lord Jesus.

Daniel 6

16 So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”

Be so strong in your faith and live a life according to the ways of ourGod that even unbelievers, who care for you know you serve a mighty God.

19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. 20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”

As much as Daniel…
