1Thessalonians 4:7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.

This is the way we are to think about sin in our life. When we love Christ but reject His teaching by living in sin we are rejecting God.

1Thessalonians 4:9 Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. 10 And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more,

This is one thing I am struggling with. All the don'ts that are mentioned before this I am okay with. But sometimes the love one another is difficult. I don't want to reject God. I want to obedient to Him but right now I am not feeling love. I hate to say that because I know that the kind of love that we are to have is agape love which is a love that does not require emotion. It is not dependent on how we feel it is a choice. I can go through the motions but it is sad when the feelings are not there with it. I pray that God will change my heart or my situation and use it for good in some way.
