2Corinthians 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Psalm 51:15 Open my lips, Lord,

    and my mouth will declare your praise.

16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;

    you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;

    a broken and contrite heart

    you, God, will not despise.

Nothing new from yesterday from 2Corinthians but some cool connections to the Psalm. When we have a broken and contrite heart, we are less likely to see our giving as a sacrifice of something and more of an offering in love.
