Living in this world without Christ makes contentment more elusive than great riches. People think all kinds of things will bring them contentment. Money, popularity, power, possessions and on and on. Christ is our source of contentment but just believing in Jesus is not what brings true contentment. True contentment comes as we learn to live according to God's word and in the control of the Holy Spirit. If we pursued godliness as much as we pursue wealth will be truly wealthy as our lives overflow with contentment.
