Genesis 2:8Then the Lord God planted a garden in Eden in the east, and there he placed the man he had made. 9The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:16But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— 17except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”

After reading the end of Revelation, the end of the end which becomes the beginning of eternity, it is cool to read the beginning of the world we live today at the beginning of a new year.

In the beginning of our time there was a tree of life that was available to Adam and Eve as long as they lived in the garden. We know that their time in the garden was temporary because of their disobedience. The tree of life is no longer available to them after they sin because it is what makes and eternal fellowship with God possible. But it was there and available to them in the limited capacity that it could be in our limited human world.

Revelation22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

In the beginning of eternity God is present at all times and there are no longer any human limits. We see that there is a river of life that flows from God Himself. We also have the tree of life. It is a massive tree straddling the river. It is a tree planted by the river of life drinking of its life-giving nourishment. Producing fruit. The 12 kinds of fruit to represent the 12 tribes would be my guess. The 12 tribes represent the totality of believers. There is enough life infused fruit for everyone to be nourished for eternity, and the leaves of the tree have healing properties. I would guess that would be healing of all kinds not just physical healing but emotional and spiritual healing as well. That would be the only way that we would be able to live for eternity still having free will but not falling into the trap of sin again. We are healed of our spiritual and emotional wounds that influence our choices. Also, since the enemy has been defeated and cast into the abyss evil is no longer present. Imagine being the presence of God always. Total love, total goodness. I am looking at the fruits of the Spirit today to prepare for the children's message on Sunday. They are what comes from God the more we know Him the stronger they are in our lives. Imagine the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control of God being in your and around you all times. As we start a new year dig your roots deeply into the living water of Jesus Christ and focus on knowing Him so you have be filled with the fruit of the Spirit that only comes from Him.

I liked the music. I feel like you hear things differently. There were 2 instances that I thought, 🤔 this didn’t stick out to me before.

Loved your writings today.

Happy New Year. ❤️
