November 1, 2026 -Don't be Seduced
[1]“My son, pay attention to my wisdom,
turn your ear to my words of insight,
[2] that you may maintain discretion
and your lips may preserve knowledge.
[3] For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey,
and her speech is smoother than oil;”
Proverbs 5:1-3 NIV
The adulterous woman is the representation of anything that would take us away from wisdom.
She is always trying to seduce us away from our bride groom. The lover of our souls who has revealed His truth and wisdom to us. The temptress might look attractive and make it sound like she is wise, but she is not. Anything that does not line up with God's word is a deception no matter how attractive it looks. The world will tell you that she is the one we should pursue but she is the liar. The cheater. The deceitful adulterous one. Jesus is the way the truth and light. He is always reliable. His wisdom is our strength and guide. Following Him may not always be easy but it will always be best.
