I just got home from a session meeting at my church. And reading these same sections over and over but written by different people reminded me of the session meeting. There was a point were everyone was saying the same thing but in a way that was important to and made sense to each person. But the conversation continued until our pastor said that it looks like everyone is in agreement. What do we need to do next? As I read these I see different people with different focus of what is important and different ways of understanding. This will naturally make the wording and the details slightly different. I think about my friends that I serve with. I can almost hear each one of us telling the same story and each one would have a different focus.

I never heard each gospel writers personality and interests come out so clearly as I did today.
